This year we made da 'hood trip to pick blueberries. A hot, hot day, but a fun one.
My amateur pickers quickly got the hang of it. Blue and firm, good. Red or purple and hard or squishy, not good.

Until he was done. And when he was done, he was DONE!!
Oh, and then SO WAS SHE. They became SO HOT and SO HUNGRY so quickly. And of course we were at least a 15 minute walk back. Ugh.
At the end of our hike was a fun zone. Fun for Codey...
NOT for Kyndal. So hot....
SO tired....
SO hungry...
And SO NOT patient...
Worth the drive and the complaining. Did I mention we only got a handful of good blueberries. Maybe better luck next year!
