The trip couldn't have started any better for Codey. Papa shows up with an old school fly fishing rod. Wowzers! Too cool!
After a 10 hour car ride, Codey figured it was all worth it. We arrived in Texas just in time for a family gathering in honor of Troy's nephew's graduation. It was great to see so much family as soon as we arrived.
Three generations of pretty cute boys.....

Mimi and Papa sure love these kids. I know they are sad they can't see them more often. So are we.

Mimi couldn't keep her hands off of them.

We didn't go to the graduation so we played and awaited the party guests. Codey and Dad played a lot of catch. Think Codey missed this ball!

Kyndal and I ...well just played. She hammed it up for me for a little bit!

(Forgive me, these get out of order...Blogspot and I aren't getting along well....can't move my pics once uploaded.)
The next day we all went to the neighbors to ride the horses. Our great niece Dakota and niece Kailee (not her mom)...

Cousins Rebekah and Kyndal...

Cousins Kyndal and Kailee...Kyndal loves Kailee. We all do. She is so sweet, loving. A great kid. Hard to believe she was our little flower girl 10 years ago!

Uncle Troy and Rebekah. Troy loves to chat sports with her. She is quite the stud athlete.

Sam (Troy's niece Ashley's husband and such a catch!!) and Grandma. Really Grandma? This is the only pic I have of you. :(

Our long lost KU cousins relocated in Ft. Worth. Chrissy and Rob, it was great to see you!

The guest of honor...Joseph...the graduate...the soon to be fireman. Debbie and Nathan brought up a great man with a solid head on his shoulders. Well done!!

The momma of the graduate and awesome sister Debbie. Sister Jacque had car trouble and couldn't make it. Sister Chris??? Were you hiding from my camera? For not visiting TX much, I sure did a lousy job of catching up in photos! Dang. Love love love all of Troy's sisters. They all have such huge hearts and really LOVE deeply. They never forget "I love yous!" Rare.

Some of the crazy cousins: Kailee, Kelsea, Kyndal, Codey, Brenden, Dakota and Rebekah.

Rebekah had this magical touch with Kyndal all weekend. Kyndal was in love.

Giving it a go on the hay rack ride. ( Rebekah, Brenden, Ashley, Kyndal Dakota, Kelsea)

Troy and Daddy riding shotgun.

Thanks to our TX family for welcoming us with open arms. It always feels so good to be back in the heart of TX. Soooooo wish you were all closer. xoxoxo
