Animal Safari

We took a friend's recommendation to visit Nature's Bridge Animal Safari while in San Antonio. As you can see it is a close up and personal visit with many of nature's creatures. It is a 3ish mile drive and you feed the animals from the car. Some sit back and wait for you to toss food at them, while others come right up and get it!
I didn't do the animals justice as there were many different kids of animals that I didn't catch on camera. The first mile plus were deer like, horned, 4 legged grazing animals.
I sat in the back to catch the kids feeding!

Things got exciting when we got to the zebras. They were NOT timid and were apparently hungry! Right away this one took Codey's bag right out of his hand and finished the food! I have some video of this that is awesome (but struggling to get my videos on this site again!)

Here he is proceeding to eat the bag as well as the contents!! BTW, after this violation of the zebra, Kyndal moved as "central" in the car as she could as to be farthest away from all the creeping animals. She often asked us to roll up the windows too!
The next stretch were the emus and ostriches with their long necks also felt free to help themselves to your bag of food. Even if it was sitting on your floorboard!!

If Troy upset this bird, he was close enough to take off his nose!! (Great video of this as well!!)

Aside from these, we saw rhinos (couldn't approach your car!), llamas, and camels....and many more that we didn't know what they were!
Had to clip a pic of one of my fave animals below.

Another memorable day!
