Merry Christmas

So when do kids start to wake at the crack of dawn on Christmas? We had to WAKE ours at 8am! I wish I would have taken a shot of the snow out our window. It was the perfect White Christmas with 10+ inches of snow. We will remember this one for a long time. This is my favorite part...the walk down the steps with bed head and groggy faces and so excited to see what Santa delivered! The first gift they both discovered was the dollhouse...hard to miss. (We are gonna have to anchor this to the wall as you can see the temptation to climb it!)
I love how Codey is running to his new scooter here...so excited! Codey was the best kid to have at Christmas. He was so excited about every gift for every person. His voice got high, his expressions were priceless, he was never disappointed. A scooter or pez dispenser, his reaction was just the same. I love a boy that is so easy to please!!A baby doll was the ONLY thing Kyndal asked for and she carried her around all day. Why is it so sweet to see a little baby holding a little baby!!??
So much time shopping and wrapping and they dig through them so quickly. (These are your gifts Aunt Chrissy! They were a big hit!)
Santa is so good never to forget our first baby.
By 11 we had dug out of our driveway and made it to Nana and Pa's house for Christmas #2. We are grateful they are close. Even if it took us hours, we would have made it! Here is Kyndal opening her first bible. Thanks aunt Louann! Kyndal is old enough now...you know...old enough to enjoy more than just the paper and bows and look forward to "anoder" present.
The four cousins...Julia (almost 4), Lydia (6), Kyndal (2) and Codey (4 1/2). They had so much fun together!
Isn't Julia darling? Truly a perfect mix of her Mom and Dad!

My second darling neice holding up the quilt my aunt Louann made her. Amazing huh? She has such a gift, not to mention patience! Lydia was honored.
Thank you Jesus for a great day to celebrate your birth and our salvation. It truly was a memorable day. We only wish the snow hadn't prevented us to travel to see Troy's cousins that afternoon. We missed celebrating with them. Almost perfect.

  1. Oooh, what fun to see glimpses of your Christmas! I want to play with that dollhouse. I love K's 12/25 ensemble and boots :)
