I used to always think my kids would have such special memories of Aspen. Our first dog, the dog they first knew, the dog that protected them while they slept, the dog that welcomed them into a family that was only hers.
And they loved her, but oh my, do they LOVE Copper.
Codey and Copper have something very special and personal....and a little slobbery too.
(I couldn't capture the tongue in every pic, but there was a lick everytime!)
I love Copper's eyes in this one...
They do say a dog's mouth is cleaner than ours right??
I'm grateful that we are a "dog home." There is something special about it. I'm grateful my kids love animals and understand they too are God's creatures.
