SEVEN

I'm pretty convinced God has put time in fast forward mode, because there is no way I have a SEVEN year old.  SEVEN.  Big.
His birthday was a Monday so the big gift had to come out on Saturday so we could play of course!

Daddy and C putting it together. He loved it!

We did a little nighttime decorating the night before....

...for sleepy head to walk through first thing birthday morning! (One deflated!)

All he wanted was a breakfast burrito...check!

And then off to school.  Looking all big...and seven...and big...and handsome.

My seven year old.  He is as sweet as that smile.  He is grateful, very helpful and generous and loving.  He loves Animal Planet, Skylanders, fishing and shooting hoops.  He loves watching sports with Dad especially Sporting KC and KU basketball.  He is careful with life, but careless with his body...fearless  He loves music and can dance, but will blush when you watch.  He has a quick wit and loves to tell jokes.  He only calls me Mommy in the morning when he first wakes up, but it comes with a long hug.  He loves life and is always on the go...with a plan...making the most of each day.  Love this precious boy with every bit of my being.

We celebrated with Bomb Pops with his class..

...while Mrs. Sudac read his book of birthday wishes from his classmates.

Most wished him KU stuff, money and a pool.  Funny.

It was also his last full day of 1st grade so there was a lot to celebrate.

And the best part...Dad was Watch Dog!!

He had a few more little things (boring...clothes, etc) when he got home.

But he loved his new walkie talkies from sis.

And new tackle from Mimi and Papa.  All the way from Texas.

Any choice for dinner and he wanted homemade nachos and to eat in front of the TV.  Being seven is good.
