Deer Valley

Troy's wonderful company took us away from home again this past February. In the past in has always been a warm destination, but Troy and I were NOT disappointed to dress warm this year in order to ski in Deer Valley, Utah. A new fave ski spot for me!! No snowboarders allowed and they cap the lift tickets they sell, so....not crowded and not chaotic and not ice sculpted from the boarders!! The first day (above) we got dumped on all day long!

We went a day early and spent time with friends in town.

The second day was PERFECT!! Blue skies and great snow obviously from the previous day/night!! It had been four years since I had skied and quickly I remembered why I love it so much. Days like this.

The Montage in Deer Valley was gorgeous and right at the base of the lift. As you skied in they handed you apple cider and cookies. Nice.

4:00 everday...the firepit. Here there was a s'more bar for your enjoyment!!

Love seeing these ladies every year.

Guilty of never taking indoor shots, but thought this was pretty of the fire place and lounging area.

We love getting spoiled with the yummy food, but we always have to have a good plate of cheese fries. Annual tradition.

Right outside our room was a sledding hill. Couldn't miss this opportunity!!
