Not a real baby, but a baby none the less. A baby that wakes in the middle of the night. (And has even been rocked.) A baby that has accidents. A baby that makes you talk baby talk. A baby that makes you say, "oooohhhh." Born August 14, we brought her home at 7 weeks old. Now at 9 weeks, she has stolen our heart. Here are a couple shots of the pick up in Sylvia, KS and her in her new home.
This boy is smitten with her. He has a lot of ownership and compassion towards her. He coaches other people on how to handle her...especially his sister. He cuddles her and teaches her and praises her.
Pretty sure she is beautiful.
This little girl handles her with more caution...surprise I know. She loves her but hates for her to get her toys, shoes, blankies, etc.
How could you not love that face?
We are sure our dog angel is heaven approves. They are similar in many ways. We are not over losing her, but appreciate the smiles Copper has brought us. Aspen will always be in our home. (In our words too. I get caught at least once a day calling Copper, Aspen!)
As you can see, she has made herself right at home...
