Best Times

Over Labor Day weekend we ventured to our kids' favorite spot...the Lakehouse...with our cousins. Every year we say the kids have the BEST time of their life. They play hard and only stop to sleep for a couple hours!Codey could live there. There is never a dull moment for him: fish, swim, jet ski, ski, explore, fish and fish some more. Here is he with Uncle David. (He's really his second cousin-once removed...so Uncle David is much more fitting!)

Dad giving him a nice LAUNCH off the dock! Fearless!

Kyndal was content with her feet on the ground most of the time, but she too never bored. Here she assists Harrison to check on the bait fish.

An afternoon boat ride in hopes to get the littlest 3 down for a nap.

Two out of three ain't bad!

Booty, booty, booty.

Lorinda, Troy, LaTanya (plus baby #2 in belly!)

Makailynn, Kyndal, Chris and Codey pose with the big one! It was almost as long as Kyndal!

If only I had back up music to this next one. Kyndal dances to "Low" or as she calls it, "Abble Bottom Jeans."

Kyndal, my cautious one, finally gets in the water with Daddy. Zero in on her feet. She is asking Daddy where the fishies are. The pointed toes are trying to get as much of her body out of the water as possible. She doesn't want the fish to touch her!

Blue-eyed beauties!

Mmmmm...

Little miss getting braver while Summer pulls her around the lake. Steady not to fall though.

These two boys were asleep by 11:00 each night and up at YES 6, to fish. The first morning I got poked in the face at 7:45 by my son in his drenched pjs. Yes, he fell in and yes, he had his life jacket on. They were constantly on the hunt for fish, creatures, something to do. Busy here in the woods!

Kyndal, Hannah, Makailynn, LaTanya, Summer.

I told Lorinda she is in big trouble after I took this pic. How gorgeous is she going to be??? I know!

Chill-axing!

We are grateful to have this trip every year. The kids have a blast and we value our time with two of our favorite people...David and Lorinda.
