That time again...

...and I thought that we just moved Codey to a big boy bed! This time we waited until 3 (vs. 22 months with Codey...what was I thinking?). Those of you who haven't....there is NO rush to get them out of a crib. It is the ONLY one place you know they are safe and will stay put. She was excited to help Daddy with this project!

Mom picked out a "loving nature" bed set...surprise! I know if I pulled her in on this decision we would have a princess bed I'm sure!

Here below I woke her from her first nap sleeping with all her old "crib" blankets, snugglies, pillows...change is hard babe I know. She has done an amazing job staying in bed. We have had a few midnight visits but she is usually quick to go back to bed. (I hope I'm not speaking too soon.)

Funny (or not so funny) part of this story. After calling Munire (company that made the bed) to verify if we had purchased the toddler rail, we learned her entire bed set/armoire/nightstand was all recalled 2 years ago for lead paint. Fabulous! Especially since she chewed on the rails when she was a baby. Not happy about this, but happy they will be replacing entire set. Thanks for the notice on that one.
