Our dear friend Erica was turning 40. Far away in Tampa, we couldn't let her celebrate alone. So we boarded a plane and surprised her in front of her house.
We kidnapped her and took her to Sarasota for a girl's weekend.
We had lovely weather.
It was nice for us Kansans to rub our toes in the sand.
And have a few drinks on the beach.
Added perk...Glen Campbell was staying at our hotel and we got a private little concert on the beach. It was awesome!

Pretty cool bonus too...Sarasota was hosting a 3D chalk art parade. I had never seen something so cool. The pics don't do it justice, but it looked like you could jump in these pictures.
