Every summer means a couple visits to Deana Rose Farmstead. The kids always have fun, it's cheap entertainment, and they get to get their hands on the animals!
Codey is happy to always love on the animals...feed the goats, even hug them (ugh), rip and hook the worms, take the fish off, chase the ducks, all of it.
Kyndal...not so much.
She did catch this fish, but she's not about to touch it!
On this day, we were oh-so-lucky to see this baby calf when it was about 10 minutes old. Way cool!
Gotta do a horse ride.
Even Kyndal! "Since it has braids, I want to ride it!" Didn't even come close last year!
Our Yockey friends came out with the #1 summer nanny, Syd (not pictured, but you know her and we love her!)
Even cooler...about 1 hour old and this calf was standing and nursing. We picked the right day to come!
