During a bedtime conversation after reading the bible, Codey got to talking about how God made the Earth. He commented on how long that must have taken Him. I said, "Actually buddy, he did it in 6 days and then rested on the 7th day." If only I had a camera to capture his face...his look of astonishment. He said, "Six days? No way. Six days to make all 50 states? I couldn't even go visit all 50 states in 6 days." I told him that He did not only create America's 50 states, but all the other land and oceans, etc. Again, a look of amazement. "Wow," he said, "that's awesome."
You are right Codey. It is awesome. And thanks for letting me realize that again through your eyes and ears. Our God is Awesome. And I'm grateful you know Him.
