Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My

oh, and seals too! For our 3rd annual trip to the Omaha Zoo, we were pleased to run right into the seal feeding and training. They were hilarious and entertaining!

Spiked-hair-monkeys? No, little boys with fro-hawks?

Codey, Carson, Kyndal, Rylee

One of Codey's favorite...although we didn't see them run...just sun bathe.
One of my favorites...

Catchin' a free ride. We were so proud of Kyndal despite our forgotten stroller at home. She was a walking champ.

The gorillas were so entertaining yet I always managed to miss the action. Here he is pounding his chest for the viewers.

Hmmm.

Wish I could have had this bird in the pic with the spiky haired 6 year olds.

We were able to watch the feeding of the jaguar. Learned they have the tightest bite, fiercest jaw. Hence the tongs to feed the creature.

Saw this one fed too. Super impressed with the training.
And so pleased at how close you can get to these creature's of God at this zoo.

Taking a day off work, it's necessary to check your phone and notes.

Kept trying to get a pic of K and gorilla. Managed on his walk away from us...bummer!

Thanks McElroy's for another good get-a-way! Thanks Omaha Zoo for being fabulous!
