Truck

While in the car last week, Codey was telling us about his "special teacher" at school that is helping him with his K and G sounds. Not bothered about it in the least, he was telling us about the games they play and showing us how these two sounds are getting better. Troy, being the good dad he is, followed up by telling him that he got some help on some sounds when he was little too.
Codey said, "Oh really? What sounds couldn't you make Dad?"
Dad said, "My TR sounds, like truck."
C: "What did you say instead of TR?" (Feel it coming?)
D: "I said F instead."
C: after pausing for a moment, "You mean you would say %@!# instead of truck?
D: holding in his laughter, "yes."
End of conversation.
Good thing he was in the back seat and couldn't see our faces. I looked at Troy and whispered, "Really? You couldn't have given him train as an example!!??"
