For the 2nd year, Codey has enjoyed singing in the children's choir at church. Front row, 4th from left.

Although he was more attentive at his basketball practices that preceded each choir practice, he still managed to learn all the words and actions and did a great job!

So this was the funny part. They were taking and passing the candles down and Codey got stuck with 2 (see above)! He got nervous and stopped singing right away...like he had done something bad and didn't know how to recover.

So he...ever so slowly...gradually put his hand behind his back to hide the extra prop and continued on with his performance. Then, trouble came, he had to put his arm around the girl beside him and...ever so slowly...dropped the candle on the ground. It was hilarious to watch!

The kids were so sweet and did such a good job. Kudos to the women that taught these kids. Fabulous job...and amazing patience.

And the coolest part (or 2nd coolest part), was the International Children's Choir that performed next. Wow. They were probably aged from 6-10 and blew us away. You gotta see them perform if you haven't. They included a great message at the beginning about how so many around our globe live (and die) with dirty water. I will never take it for granted and will always try to help.
