Troy HAD to be in Chicago for work, so we just HAD to fly me up there to have the weekend together. And what's best is that some of my high school and college besties live there. (All i-phone pics, sorry!)

We enjoyed Friday night with my friends...
...and the rest of the weekend as a couple...
with yummy Chicago pizza
and a trip to the 3-story American Girl Doll Store...oh my. I'm sure that was Troy's first and last time in there!
Enjoyed the scenery...
..and street entertainment...
And we did the evening on a boat on the river...so cool!
Sometimes it's just nice to get away!
