Not in his future

We were lucky enough to attend our FIRST school music program for Codey last month. Stone Soup was the program and these first graders were super cute!! Dressed as villagers, they had the audience in stitches as they sang and performed!
Codey was excited for a while about it. Then Mom and Kyndal went to the daytime performance and I had to tell Codey he couldn't do the whole program with his arms across his chest. (I have no photos from the first performance.) But he looked like he was having NO fun with his arms crossed. Thank goodness I could tell him before the nighttime show! (Or maybe not!)

Most of the show he was happy and doing the motions...

But, MANY times he suffered serious boredom. He felt the need to pick on a snap on his pocket over and over.

And of course Mom dressed him in a RED vest so that he would STICK out! And so you could clearly notice he had already untucked his shirt!

If he wasn't picking his pocket he was adding wings to his outfit by doing this...

And many times he was staring off, probably thinking about how he couldn't wait for this to be over and hopefully have time to watch Finneus and Ferb before bedtime!!
Nonetheless, we were proud of him and will completely support him if he DOESN'T want to do theatre in the future!!
