Remember when just the littlest "changes" to your normal day were so exciting. A holiday that came with a party got you so antsy that you couldn't sleep at night waiting for the next day. One of my biggest "loves" of parenting is "loving" the holidays with your children. It's like you love the holidays as kids...then there is this period where you enjoy the break from school or work and you get hang with the
fam and eat a lot. And then you become a parent and it is all new again...and better. For holidays and birthdays we make chains in our house. We take a link off everyday to see we are one day closer to the big day. Everyday is special, but it is fun to watch their faces when they realize today is an extra-special-fun and important day.
Welcome to the holiday season kids. Lots of chains to make, lots to celebrate, lots to get excited about.
The kids were excited for their Halloween parties at school. They were scheduled at the very same time. I was devastated...I can't be in two places at once. Troy was happy to party with
Kyndal while I partied with
Codey!
Here is our little Strawberry Shortcake and her little 3 year old friends.

And here is our Mario and his big Kindergarten buddies.

I know, I know. Looks like his butt his on the wrong side! Ha...supposed to be his big belly!

Codey with his completed Halloween
place mat.

Darlings.
